OPTCL has been ISO/IEC 27001 certified since 2017, demonstrating its long-standing commitment to maintaining robust information security practices and protecting organizational information assets.
OPTCL has implemented an Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard and complies with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
A risk-based approach has been applied to protect information assets, supported by defined policies, access controls, continuous monitoring, and incident management processes. This framework ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information while enabling continual improvement of our information security posture.
OPTCL ensures timely mitigation of vulnerabilities and advisories issued by the Ministry of Power, CERT-IN, CERT-GO, NCIIPC, and Cyber Swachhata Kendra (CSK) and other nodal agencies ensuring sustained cyber security compliance at the organizational level.
